Position Summary & Responsibilities: As a Waste Processing Operator, you control the daily sorting, shredding, baling, and material handling systems across high-volume waste processing facilities. You monitor automated conveyor feeds, operate stationary hydraulic compactors and industrial shredders, clear material jams, and conduct routine equipment lubrication and safety checks. Furthermore, you inspect incoming waste streams for non-compliant items, maintain clean processing bays, and record operational throughput data into facility logs. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence inside the processing facility (zero remote capability).
Qualifications & Benefits: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Requires 1+ years of experience operating industrial machinery, conveyors, or heavy processing equipment. Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and comfort working in industrial plant environments are essential.
